Beast Gaming Build Under Rs.60000

Wednesday, March 18, 2015
In this post I'll pick out the best price/performance products through which one can get a excellent performance for a steep budget. This build that I'll illustrate will be able to run any game in 1080p at high/ultra setting without any hassle. This post would rather be precise so it would not be long.

NOTE: This build pricing only includes the CPU.

1. Processor-AMD FX-8350

Price-Rs.13625

Buy at flipkart:  Link

For the processor I'll take the AMD FX-8350. Though an old processor dating back to 2012, It is one of the best if you want Bang for your Buck Performance,Based on the piledriver architecture it may not be able to give the best single performance but still with 8 cores it is a beast! With the advent of the mantle API and the DirectX 12 for Windows 10 which will use the multi-core technology in it.This processor would be able to outperform any of the i5's present in the market. With a little bit of overclocking you can achieve extreme performance from this processor in the present times. It is easily a better choice if you want to render videos and use programs like Adobe After Effects or Photoshop. So my recommendation go with this.

2.MotherBoard-ASRock 970 Extreme 4

Price-Rs.6430

Buy at flipkart: Link

ASRock make the most sturdy motherboard among all. They are extremely durable and guarantee extreme performance,The ASRock 970 Extreme 4 is a budget motherboard which offers lots of features for the price. So let's jump to some stats. This. This motherboard supports 32GB of DDR3 ram till 1866Mhz which is extremely powerful for gaming. The motherboard support a very high overclocking ability because of which it is a perfect match for the FX-8350.It has many other features like e-sata ports, ASRock's USB and RAM boost technology which gives the board a decisive edge. And for the price of mentioned, it's a steal! So grab one now.

3.GraphicsCard-Nvidia GTX 780

Price-26999

For the graphics card I was torn between the GTX-780 and the AMD R9 290X . But after reviewing the benchmarks on both of them. I came to the conclusion that the GTX-780 is the better card in this case. Even though beating the R9 290X narrowly I am suggesting it because of its better power efficiency and the notion that it costs like Rs.3000 less than the R9 290X. It would be able to run any game at around 60 fps without any hassle in a 1080p to 1440p resolutions. But those guys who wanna maybe also do bitcoin mining with this rig, they should opt for the AMD card as it gives way better performance in crypto analysis. So in the end it all depends on you.

The orange one is the GTX-780 and the blue one is the R9 290X.This benchmark should settle all doubts about the cards performance,

4.Power Supply Unit-Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2UK/CMPS- CX600W 600 Watts PSU

Price-Rs.5150

Buy at flipkart:

There not much to say here. Corsair is a known brand and the PSU should be good enough. 600W should be enough even when overclocking since the GPU doesn't take a lot of power . 600W provides a lot of wiggle room for any future upgrade . So I suggest you should go with this. For extra protection you can go for a modular power supply which would give an extra cushion for your components . So you could check out the Seasonic PSU's they cost about Rs.3000 more but they are a lot more sturdier and are expected to last a long time.

5.RAM-G.Skill Sniper 8GB 1600Mhz Dual-Band

Price-Rs.5800

G.skill is known for their reliable and powerful RAM. The sniper range is one of their top product and offer extreme performance to gamers.Do not think twice go with this and I recommend using 2X4 GB vs 1X8 GB since the dual channel on the motherboard will give better performance with two 4GB sticks.

6.Cabinet-Deep Cool Tessaract SW

Rs.3300

The Deepcool Tessaract is neat looking stylish case with very good cooling dynamics, Deepcool's patented technology for airflow gives the product an edge and especially for gamers. The case supports all ATX, Micro-ATX build type and comes pre-equipped with 2 120mm Led front and rear fans which is an obvious choice for gamers. The additional feature that I found interesting was the presence of a USB 3.0 header which let's user to get high USB speeds without having to go back and plug the stuff to the motherboard.

So end tally for our rig reaches
*Drum Roll*
Rs.61354

Well we edged out the budget by a little bit but it was worth it. The rig would work flawlessly without any upgrade for atleast 4 years.

For all the overclockers present there, I recommend you get an aftermarket heatsink so that you do not blow out your stuff. Go with the CoolerMaster 212 Evo it should suffice.
